Since September 2021, the ATRS Book Club has been a sanctuary — a gathering place for seekers, students, and lovers of African spirituality to explore our sacred traditions without judgment, in a space built on safety and belonging. We don't just read books; we’re learning about ancestral veneration in the company of elders, in real time. With members based throughout the African Diaspora, at our gatherings, strangers into kin. Once a year, we convene in New Orleans, at BEAUCOUP HODOO FEST, where community meets deep learning meets ritual meets powerful connection meets celebration and joy. This is more than a book club — it’s a tribe.
